Penn's student-faculty ratio may be 6:1, but the University holds 57 classes with over 100 students in them, according to the most recent common data set released by the university. There are also 175 classes with 50 to 99 students.

Here are the top 20 departments holding the largest classes, as ranked by their Penn Course Review average class size information. Students who did not fill out Penn Course Review evaluations are not included in the counts, though more than 95 percent of students do fill out the evaluations.
